AUGUST
MEETING RECAP |

Our
last meeting Chairman Robertson presented the State of African
Americans from a local perspective. Topics presented included
a recap of the State of Black America report (2005 Urban League
Report), policy analysis starting from the Regan administration
to the Clinton Administration, and some ended with local politics
in the Houston area. |
| |
| "It
was important that we gave the entire membership the opportunity
to see full vision of why we exist. We stripped away race,
party affiliation and addressed our challenges as Americans
first." |
