G.O.T.V. (Get Out The Vote) for our Endorsed Candidates

Details: BLACKDEMS will meet at SEIU HeadQuarters to conduct phone bank operations for our endorsed candidates! This is what we have been waiting for, so let's get to work.  All members should come out if you have the time. Call (832) 493-3377 if you have any questions before the phone banking.
Candidate Accountability Session
Date: Thursday February 23rd
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3015 N. Macgregor Way
Details: Accountability session for the state representative candidates for districts 146 and 147. Districts 146 and 147 cover Third Ward, South Park, Sunny side, parts of the Med Center, and parts of Meyer land. The goal of the accountability session is to put these candidates on record. We want definitive answers to how they plan to fix the education funding system, our tax system (property tax, sales tax, and franchise tax), and The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). This is Leo Varner's event.  Hosted by Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church and TMO.
